What if no family in Kosciusko County ever heard “we can’t help”—only “we know who can”?
The Service Provider Coalition is committed to creating a collaborative network of community-based organizations, churches, agencies, and service providers to ensure that vulnerable children and families have comprehensive, coordinated care.
By working together, we aim to bridge gaps in services, share resources, and strengthen the support system, fostering a resilient and empowered community until there is more than enough in Kosciusko County to meet these needs.
Three commitments that shape how LovEd shows up
We Listen First
Schools are the experts on their students and families. LovEd starts by asking — not assuming. Every response begins with a need the school has identified and surfaced. We ask, what other supports already exist here: PTOs, advocates, other organizations.
We Focus on Social & Family Support
LovEd addresses the human needs that show up in schools — food instability over breaks, family crisis, housing pressure, foster placement, social connection.
We Coordinate, We Don't Deliver
LovEd organizes churches, volunteers, and community partners to respond. We build the network, hold the relationships, and provide necessary templates and tools to make it easy for churches.
What We're Working On
Shared Resource Directory
We're building a single, shared directory of resources across Kosciusko County — so that no matter which organization a family reaches first, they can be connected to the right help quickly. Instead of every provider, church, or school maintaining its own list of who does what, the coalition is compiling accurate, up-to-date information into one place that navigators and partners can trust.
Strengthening Transportation for Families
Transportation can be the difference between a family reaching help or missing it. The coalition is testing two approaches: a car repair ministry, modeled after a program in a neighboring county, offering reduced-cost repairs and stability support; and KABS bus tokens, distributed by a local provider to help families get to appointments. We're tracking results to see what works.
